HDMI Active Optical (AOC) Cables perform the same as our shorter HDMI cables but allow for lossless signal transfer over far greater distances than copper HDMI cables making them important additions for professional installers. A 4K signal at 60Hz requires 17.82Gbps of bandwidth to transfer between source and display and after just 10 metres of copper HDMI cable results in noticeable degradation.
