Refund and Returns Policy

Our policy is valid for a period of 14 calendar days from the date of the purchase. If you would like to return the product for a refund during this period, you may do so provided the conditions below have been met. Please note that if the period of 14 days has lapsed, we can’t, unfortunately, offer you a refund.

Refund requirements

The following criteria must be met to qualify for a refund:

  • Product is defective
  • Product is not as described
  • Product must not be damaged

In order to ensure the above criteria has been met, all returns will be inspected. If the product does not meet the listed criteria, we reserve the right not to issue a refund.

Proof of purchase

To complete your refund, we require a receipt, purchase order or other proof of purchase. Please note that without the aforementioned proof of purchase, we will not issue a refund.

Shipping items

In order to return an order, you must contact us first and obtain and include a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Returns will not be accepted without a valid Return Merchandise Authorization.

Returns can be mailed to: 1/7 Sir Laurence Drive, Seaford 3198, Victoria, Australia. You will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs with regard to the items that you wish to return. We will not refund the shipping costs.

You must take care to ensure that the goods are properly packaged so that they will not be damaged while in transit. If the product is found damaged or used beyond what it takes for us to reasonably inspect it, then we may reject a refund.

All refunds will be subject to a 10% restocking fee.

Defects, Warranties and Returns, Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (CCA)

  1. The Client must inspect the Goods on delivery and must within fifteen (15) days of delivery notify Kordz in writing of any evident defect/damage, shortage in quantity, or failure to comply with the description or quote. The Client must notify any other alleged defect in the Goods as soon as reasonably possible after any such defect becomes evident. Upon such notification the Client must allow Kordz to inspect the Goods.
  2. Under applicable State, Territory and Commonwealth Law (including, without limitation the CCA), certain statutory implied guarantees and warranties (including, without limitation the statutory guarantees under the CCA) may be implied into these terms and conditions (Non-Excluded Guarantees).
  3. Kordz acknowledges that nothing in these terms and conditions purports to modify or exclude the Non-Excluded Guarantees.
  4. Except as expressly set out in these terms and conditions or in respect of the Non-Excluded Guarantees, Kordz makes no warranties or other representations under these terms and conditions including but not limited to the quality or suitability of the Goods. Kordz’ liability in respect of these warranties is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  5. If the Client is a consumer within the meaning of the CCA, Kordz’ liability is limited to the extent permitted by section 64A of Schedule 2.
  6. If Kordz is required to replace the Goods under this clause or the CCA, but is unable to do so, Kordz may refund any money the Client has paid for the Goods.
  7. If the Client is not a consumer within the meaning of the CCA, Kordz’ liability for any defect or damage in the Goods is:

    (a) limited to the value of any express warranty or warranty card provided to the Client by Kordz at Kordz’ sole discretion;
    (b) limited to any warranty to which Kordz is entitled, if Kordz did not manufacture the Goods;
    (c) otherwise negated absolutely.
  8. Subject to this Defects, Warranties and Returns, Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (CCA) clause, returns will only be accepted provided that:

    (a) the Client has complied with the provisions of clause 1; and
    (b) Kordz has agreed that the Goods are defective; and
    (c) the Goods are returned within a reasonable time at the Client’s cost (if that cost is not significant); and
    (d) the Goods are returned in as close a condition to that in which they were delivered as is possible.
  9. Notwithstanding clauses 1 to 8 but subject to the CCA, Kordz shall not be liable for any defect or damage which may be caused or partly caused by or arise as a result of:

    (a) the Client failing to properly maintain or store any Goods;
    (b) the Client using the Goods for any purpose other than that for which they were designed;
    (c) the Client continuing the use of any Goods after any defect became apparent or should have become apparent to a reasonably prudent operator or user;
    (d) the Client failing to follow any instructions or guidelines provided by Kordz;
    (e) fair wear and tear, any accident, or act of God.
  10. Kordz may in its absolute discretion accept non-defective Goods for return in which case Kordz may require the Client to pay handling fees of up to ten percent (10%) of the value of the returned Goods plus any freight costs.
  11. Notwithstanding anything contained in this clause if Kordz is required by a law to accept a return then Kordz will only accept a return on the conditions imposed by that law.

Shipping Policies

Shipping Options & Delivery Costs – We offer the following shipping options – you will be asked to select a shipping method at checkout.
• Shipping Courier such as – TNT/FEDEX, StarTrack, Toll, Couriers Please, and more.
• Australia Post from time to time.

Order Processing Time – All orders placed before 2 PM Monday to Friday are processed and dispatched the same day, all orders placed after will be dispatched the next day. All orders placed during the weekend or on a public holiday will be sent from our warehouse on Monday or on the next business day.

Delivery Address & P.O. Boxes – Please note that we are unable to modify the delivery address once you have placed your order. We are sorry but we Do NOT ship to P.O. boxes.

International Orders – We DO NOT ship outside of Australia. Please visit kordz.com for your country’s local distributor.

Tracking Your Order – Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you a confirmation email with tracking information. You will be able to track your package directly on the carrier’s website.

Delivery of Goods – Delivery (“Delivery”) of the Goods is taken to occur at the time that:

(a) the Client or the Client’s nominated carrier takes possession of the Goods at Kordz’ address; or

(b) Kordz (or Kordz’ nominated carrier) delivers the Goods to the Client’s nominated address even if the Client is not present at the address.
Delivery of the Goods to a third party nominated by the Client is deemed to be delivery to the Client for the purposes of this agreement.

At Kordz’ sole discretion the cost of delivery is either included in the Price or is in addition to the Price.

Any time specified by Kordz for delivery of the Goods is an estimate only. The Client must take delivery by receipt or collection of the Goods whenever they are tendered for delivery. Kordz will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by the Client as a result of delivery being late. In the event that the Client is unable to take delivery of the Goods as arranged then Kordz shall be entitled to charge a reasonable fee for redelivery and/or storage.
