Leave a ReviewThe MU-STIX-GF is a small form factor 48Gbps HDMI pattern generator equipped with a female HDMI output port, providing additional in-field and rack room pass/fail signal transmission path verification flexibility.
While the MU-STIX-G with its male HDMI connector negates the need for an additional HDMI cable to rapidly test a display device, HDBaseT extension, or AVoIP TX endpoints, the MU-STIX-GF with its female HDMI port facilitates testing in tight spaces via HDMI cable extension.
The MU-STIX-GF generates video test patterns at resolutions from 720p60 through 8K/30, including 4K/120 fps High Frame Rate. It’s mini-OLED screen displays the selected pattern, resolution, bit rate, colour space, and HDCP version, selected with its rocker switch interface.
STIX enables rapid signal throughput confirmation of cables and devices before site deployment to verify correct functionality, programming, and system performance parameters.
For stand-alone use, the MU-STIX-GF is a convenient, cost-effective multi-resolution format generator for commercial or residential integrators when simple pass-fail transmission path and display capability verification are required.
